Neuroanatomy Illustrations

assignment 1 labelled 20201229-1421.png

These illustrations were done for MSC2012: Neuroanatomy Illustration. These illustrations were created using a variety of references, including textbooks and a plastic model for anatomical accuracy and sheep brains for texture. Illustrations were sketched and revised in consultation with my professor, going through several iterations to ensure the anatomy was as accurate as possible.

The final sketches were traced in Illustrator and rendered in Clip Studio Paint. A subtle marble texture and levels adjustments were added in Photoshop. Labels and text were done in Illustrator.
