Hi! I’m Jenn. I specialize in creating visual materials that make health-related information easier to understand. I’m passionate about using knowledge translation to promote better health for all.

I’ve been doing freelance work for many years, with experience in designing educational materials for the general population, policy makers, and health care professionals.

I’m a graduate of the Master of Science in Biomedical Communication program at the University Toronto. My Master’s Research Project uses animation as a tool to educate people about stigma associated with HIV.

I did my first master’s degree in Public Health at the University of British Columbia, through which I discovered my passion for visual communication. I have experience with quantitative and qualitative research, having worked as a research assistant at the Centre for Family Medicine in Kitchener and at the Rick Hansen Institute in Vancouver.

While I’ve been interested in art and design my entire life, I’ve also taken formal courses in communication design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design and the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
